One of the easiest contestant is the leader of the entire Demon race. Lord-Emperor Fur Paveth is the strongest Demon Lord ruling over the vast territory known as the Demon Empire. He was s prodigy, a genius fighter who evolved into a Demon Lord in a mere 40 years of life in battle. Something not seen in over a century since the wave of Demon Lords that started the Conquest. Paveth knows he is strong, but he cannot help but feel he was born in the wrong era. Becoming Lord-Emperor has removed him from his favoured place of ruling, in Fur Dessath. When he took office, the Empire was still building its forces and defending against the monsters of the Verdant Steppes. There was no reason or possibility to go start another Conquest with the few Demon Lords available to him. The other countries had built their might to resist such Paveth is a cunning man, if a little unwilling to deal with paperworks and ceremonies. He is to fulfill his role of Lord-Emperor stay on his throne all day long to solve problems and can only relieve his stress in the occasionnal feast or . Ambitious and impatient, he looks forward to a battle of untold proportion so he may put his true powers to use.

The two Demon studied warfare in the same battle-school. Earning the top spots in the competitions and tests, they strived to surpass each other in many subjects. During their military years, their assignements positionned them on different ends of the Empire, though they respected each other and occasionnaly reunited to celebrate victories.

Out of every Demons in the Empire, those Mor Natar can respect can be counted on the fingers of two hands. If you had to guess which one's the thumb, it would obviously be Emperor Paveth. The young monarch is strongest individual of the Empire. A monster of a Demon, stuck to a throne, but far from dull. Mor Natar respects power in its purest form, plus having the Emperor as a friend reassured Natar's companions. The two of them met before Paveth's coronation, as a request from the future Emperor to test his strength against the monster-slaying Demon of the South. The battle lasted so long that the two obviously became friends. Natar had found an equal that didn't lie or fear him, while Paveth had found a great sparing partner. Should the Emperor call fo help, perhaps the Beastseeker might answer. That is, if he has nothing better to do.
