Crown Prince of the Fortern Kingdom, Clovis is the impetuous son and heir of Jean IV "le Hardi" de Fortern. Clovis admires his father and wishes to make him proud above all else. He led a Forternian offensive on the Cleaving Hills and was quite successful at the beginning thanks to the advices of Général Braise Forja. However, his advisors encouraged him to head their own calls and not let Braise take more credit which led to the Human defeat in the Battle of the Cleaving Hills.
Clovis is an honest young man who is much less acustomed to the courts' intrigue than his sisters. As the second child but the only male, his place in the heredity is still secure. He is torn between staying home and keeping the dynasty safe and proving his worth to the Kingdom and his heroic father.
