Scholars

Scholars are the lead researchers in charge of Rift study and the study of the many extradimensional worlds each connects to. Scholars have developed a method of determining if a Rift leads to their own plane, a connected plane, or a completely separate dimension. They’re quick to figure out the rules of new planes and dimensions, based on the study of previously discovered rifts. They also have a strong understanding of magic in general. Magical aptitude is a requirement for this department.
