Puerto Mendezian
Puerto Mendezians or simply Mendezians are inhabitants of the Island 4 space colony built by the Confederation of Southern Nations - Confederación de las Naciones del Sur. The majority of the inhabitants originate from CNS member states, and hold strong connections with their home nation. These divisions rarely cause conflict on Puerto Mendez with the exception of during heated sporting events and rare internal conflicts between CNS nations. A portion of those who reside permanently on Puerto Mendez have over time begun to blend into a shared culture, associating more with the station than with their terrestrial origins. That percentage has been slowly growing over time.

A dialect has begun to emerge on Puerto Mendez. The so-called "Mendezian Spanish" has hints of Portuguese influence through Brazillian-Mendezians. Furthermore, slang and expressions are more geared towards life in space, for instance the use of the phrase "Abajos" as a derogatory term for people living on Earth.
