Campaign Against New Dawn

The Campaign Against New Dawn (abbreviated CAND in military documents) is an ongoing military endeavor to combat the New Dawn organization after it claimed responsibility for the destruction of Most Mira Station - Мост Мира Станция. The operation has spanned multiple battlefields and engagements on several fronts, but is largely focused on parts of Mars and Luna where New Dawn had the largest support.
Though many nations and organizations joined the Campaign Against New Dawn, the Transnational Aerospace Security Alliance (TASA) has led the main effort against New Dawn. TASA's role in the operation is so prevalent that some are unaware of international support and consider the campaign to be solely TASA's endeavor. While it is true that TASA makes up the overwhelming majority of the Anti-New Dawn Coalition, the attack on Most Mira was enough of a shock to cause adversaries like TASA and the Confederation of Southern Nations - Confederación de las Naciones del Sur and the Pacific Asia Coalition to unite against a common enemy.
The nature and scope of the campaign has been the source of much controversy. Critics claim that the campaign acts as carte blanche for TASA to grab power and influence wherever they deem a New Dawn stronghold, and the vague objectives give no clear end point. The invasion of _______ on Luna is cited as an example of overreach, as the connection between the ______ government and New Dawn was tenuous at best, and the supporting intelligence was weak. The application of TASA's full military might has also been a point of contention as the campaign drew on. Many were initially supportive of the shock and awe tactics when the loss of Most Mira was still fresh, but as the counter-insurgency continued, public support began to dwindle in light of the high number of civilian casualties.
By the tenth year of the conflict, a number of the non-TASA coalition members withdrew from the coalition, to include the PAC and CNS.
