Nara

Introduction

The Nara was the predecessor of all plant life and the Doret. This gargantuan greenery grew and wove its stalk through soil across the globe at the beginning of Oosil's timeline. The Nara was a singular entity that produced the seeds of all plant life, cultivating a whole plant ecosystem.
The Nara became extinct due to a meteor shower that crumbled to dust upon entering the Oosil atmosphere. The volatile Suto-0 dust fell to the surface and reacted with Nara's biology, turning its stalk grey. As it wilted away, the plant converted Suto-0 into Suto-1, so that the dust enhances instead of destroys plant life. This conversion caused the Doret to be conceived. Thus passing the mantle of dominant species onto an animal, who is therefore destined to cultivate the plants on Oosil.
