A Gods' Spear

The Servants of Gods started as an obsession, became a cult, and now it stands as a movement. They believe that the Meta Humans are not a scientific experiment or accident, instead they see the Metas as rightful rulers of humanity, divinely appointed to sit as our kings and queens. And all power and authority of this group flows from the inner circle, known as "The Gods' Spears". To become a God's Spear is to dedicate ones entire life to the pursuit of placing Metas in seats of power, priming them to take over the world. As best as anyone is aware there are only 14 Gods' Spears, though that awareness is lucid at best. No one knows for sure who they are. Government agencies have tried desperately for years to find and identify these people, but to no avail. Their tracks are always covered, their plans are always layered, and no one has even come close to foiling them.

Some are probably as suspected; people of great wealth, privilege, and power. While others are experts in the fields of politics, tactics, military strategy... The possibilities are endless.

There was a concerted effort in 2024 between US Special Forces and the British SAS to capture or kill any member of The Gods' Spears after it was suspected they were responsible for the meltdown of the Koeberg power plant in South Africa. 24 personnel were assigned to the operation... and only one came back alive, both her eyes gouged out. US and British governments immediately moved to classify and bury what happened, but word of what happened got out all the same. A ghost story to most, a dark and sinister threat to the upper echelon of world politics. A Gods' Spear is to be feared above all else.
