Vibbbura Stomping Grounds

A place no more inhospitable than the rest of the desert, the Vibbbura Stomping Grounds include a high percentage of vibbbura. This makes it impossible for other species to do more than travel through the middle of it, and even that with high caution. Yet people do live on the very edges of the grounds, having created a pleasant rapport with the animals who stand taller than their buildings.

Geography

Situated in the northwest of the Venztorian Empire, the stomping grounds are mainly desert, but also encompass almost all of Lereran River, except for where it branches off from the Laukarrie. Because of wildlife, the sands have parted in many places, digging up many shattered weathering stone, usually in sheets. It is one of the greener views in all of Geville's deserts, with rampant spread of vegetation which is hardly ever feasted on.

Ecosystem

Next to a river which flows in from the ocean, this part of the desert does not become nearly as hot as the rest of the biome. Vibbbura are sonavores and only certain smaller animals risk being found in proximity of so many of these larger beasts. For a desert, the vegetation is lush and the winds are constant yet gentle, giving the constant sound of rustling that the vibbbura feed off of. On top of that, the constant chattering of other smaller animals, who take comfort in the protection the vibbbura afford them, makes the Stomping Grounds a source of never ending noise.

Fauna & Flora

The vibbbura are in constant motion and do not remain in this one area all the time. Yet most return because of the amount of food. It is a cyclical ecosystem: it is so noisy because the animals and environment which attracts the vibbbura, but the vibbbura are there in large enough amounts to keep other predators and larger herbivores away. No one knows which came first.   Other than the vibbbura, a few other species survive in the stomping grounds. The rodentia clekklec burrow in the moist and warm banks of the river, while different avians (mainly you-you and farouheights) forage through the plants for their food, spreading seeds from the Leleran all the way up the Laukarrie.
