Council House
The Council House was the first permanent structure in the Council's Camp. It was originally built as a wood structure, but was torn down to create a bigger structure as more groups joined the Treaty. The stone structure that stands today was built in the early 1500s from the black volcanic rock that the region is known for. The Council House is the tallest structure in the valley and can easily been seen throughout but looking for the glowing crystal that sits atop the dome.
Purpose / Function
The Council House is the main meeting point for the Council of Elders. It is also where any judgments are handed out between disputing parties.
Alterations
Throughout the centuries the building has been reconstructed 4 times. The first time was to enlarge the original wooden structure. The second time was to repair the wooden structure after centuries of use. The third time was to rebuild the wooden structure in stone and increase its defenses. The last time was a major remodel in the early 2000s to install new technology and better weatherizing.
Architecture
The stone comes from the surrounding region and is a lava black rock. This gives the Council House a particular grey-black color. It is capped with a dome at top. The dome is topped with a large Haryk Crystal. The building is T-shaped where the long portion of the "T" is the two-story high Elders Chamber.
It is a two-story building. The first floor is a large courtroom-style meeting room, known as the Elders Chambers. The dais holds a table and seven chairs; one for each Elder. On each side of the room are more tables and chairs for the Councilors and their clients. The rest of the room is filled with benches for seating. This is the room where major decisions are made.
The upper floor is where offices are and storage rooms. There are also a few smaller meeting rooms.

Defenses
Most of the defenses are magical. The crystals embedded in the building create a magic barrier when activated. The building is used as a shelter. The defensive positions are managed by the Sword Order.
