The New Order Revolt

The New Order Revolt, occuring sometime after the Stampede Of Ice broke out, was a conflict between the older; ruling Deepcore Foundation leaders and the civilians living under them. The conflict would bring down the remains of the Deepcore Foundation within what used to be America; and create the Frozen Core; which would have somewhat better relationships with those in the frozen wasteland, albeit with a long way to go for a complete peace to be had.

The Conflict

Prelude

After the Stampede Of Ice occured, tensions became especially high within the town of Chelburg and the cities managed by the Deepcore Foundation. Of note was that there was a growing resentment towards Stephen Russo and his handling of all the troubles they were getting into with the other groups in the frozen wasteland, especially that with The Refounded; not to mention an already existing anger with the Deepcore Foundation having caused World War III.
Things would come to a head in March, when a group of Nomans stopped within Chelburg for a small period of time, having to seek shelter from a blizzard that had occured in the area. While there, Stephen Russo; whom was going mad from a growing paranoia due to a lack of trust from those around him and all the resentment building up; ordered the Nomans arrested. During the arrest; several people began to protest and fight back against the police force that the Deepcore Foundation had set up.
In response, Stephen ordered for the police to fire upon the crowd.

Pushback

Immediately after the police began to fire at the crowd, all hell broke loose. Many civilians began to strike back at the police, with many casualities occuring as a result of all of the fighting; which would last for days. Despite the efforts of the police force that existed, the civilians; being rallied by a man whom would become the Frozen Core's 1st leader, Danny Foster; would manage to hold their own against them.
Stephen Russo, realizing that the mob would be coming for him; attempted to flee from Chelburg, but he was quickly caught by those within the city. Once he was caught, he was summarily executed; his arms and legs broken and shattered into pieces by the mob before he was quite literally torn limb from limb; bringing an end to the Deepcore Foundation as they remained within the frozen wasteland.

Outcome

A new government was established within the city of Chelburg, giving rise to the Frozen Core. As a result of this, they had opted to try and make good relationships with the other groups of survivors within the area, starting with those within The Refounded by assisting with the The WorldForge Celebrations that would occur later in the year.
The government that was established was originally structured to be just two groups: Those who work to protect the civilians; and the civilians themselves. After some time, however, the Frozen Core began to organize people into jobs depending on the skills they exhibited, with some becoming known as The Workers and others becoming known as The Civil. The leadership of the Frozen Core would be known as The Aristocracy.

Aftermath

Although a few settlements within what was once Deepcore Foundation control would eventually join up with the Frozen Core; such as Devilsburg and the Spearhead Mine, the San Antonio Mine and Terlingua would remain distant and locked away from the rest of the Frozen Core; the former due to the tragedies and other unnatural elements that would occur there; and the latter due to an undying loyalty to the Deepcore Foundation that permeated from the place.
