Among the tallest mountains and flattest grasslands, civilizations have risen and fallen, each more terrible and glorious than the last. The native inhabitants on the realm were used to fighting to survive, grouping despite themselves in towns and cities to brave off the voracious environment. It was only through worship and sacrifice that the vampire gods were bribed into keeping the beasts and demonic Incursions in check, so that the common vampire could fight for land and blood for their nation. A symbiotic relationship that brought an age of expansion and progress to the wild-lands, and prosperity and migration to the cities. The Age of the Vampire, that could only be ended by the vampire himself.   In modern times, people like to distance themselves from such a barbaric past, brushed aside with shame so the human newcomers won't see, for a new dawn has come in the form of steam and steel. Neither the heroic vampire warrior or the powerful god are necessary anymore. However, eons of the realm's war with itself won't end just because rationalism deems a rock was never alive. Omeyocan breathes through every tree and feeds through every cave, relentless and compassionate as ever.
