Hallowed Listener

The Listeners are the closest confidants of The Sunspeaker. Whenever something doesn't need the direct attention of the Speaker, they delegate the task to one of their Listeners. The few occasions this work takes them outside of the Sanctum of the Three and One, are the only times the Listeners step out into the world.

Appointment

A Listener can only be appointed by The Sunspeaker themself, and are usually done so because their families have been loyal to the ruler for many generations. Every few generations, a Listener from a new family is appointed. Whenever this happens, it is because they have done a great service to the gods, or a personal favour to The Speaker.
