Omen

Omen is an original setting which started as a novel project in 2019.   Heavily inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman, H.P. Lovecraft, JRPGs and several mythologies, the themes depicted in this piece are varied and approach a plethora of social issues and philosophical dilemmas, attempting to provide something new and interesting for everyone, and allowing for many different player-character backgrounds and hopefully serving as a strong storytelling tool for DMs of all skill levels.   While there are many cultures and ideas represented in the setting, the main theme that binds most storytelling arcs together is cosmic horror; the concept that, regardless of how much power and influence one might accrue, there is only so much that can be done to protect oneself from the nature of the universe and its higher figures of power.
