Rekgorod

A merchant sets up his market in the town square peddling goods to the passerby. His cart of fine cloth, beautiful patterns, and entrancing gemstones are soon swept up by those who can easily afford them. He barters with the artisans who come seeking his goods. His gold purse grows bulkier and his chest grows heavier with the earnings of today. After a day of sales he closes up his cart and retires for the night with it now nearly empty. He seeks a tavern to find rest in for the night and spend some of his gold. He moves through the streets towards a tavern with a sign that says Zvonomir's Inn.   A craftsman takes the steel he bought earlier to his shop and begins making wares for future customers. The wary adventurer or the hardworking farmer can find the tools of trade in his metalworks as he smiths together a well crafted set of sickles, scythes, and pitchforks. Pieces that can be used to outfit a plough are also found on his shelves. Shimmering sharp swords, bulky broadaxes, and spears sturdy enough to pierce the heart of a giant decorate his weapon racks. After finishing his work for the day, he returns once more to the sweltering heat of the smithy and brings out his masterpiece, a set of stunning armor forged from some of the new steels and the scales of a dead white dragon.   A priest of Fosredas walks his way through the illuminated atrium of the beautiful St. Asinov's Solstead in the city. The flickering of candles illuminate your path and the pews sit orderly and neat for tomorrows, service. The light from the intricate dragon bone chandelier is snuffed as the day come to a close and the solstead is closed to the public. The painted walls decorate the solstead and tell tales of the Saint and his god. He sits before the statue of St. Asinov in solitude after locking the doors. He begins to pray and hum a quiet tune as it echoes through the atrium.

Demographics

The racial population is mostly humans at 62%, Halflings and Elves each have roughly 14% and 13% respectively. Gnomes make up 5%, with the remaining 6% being of other races such as dragonborn, tieflings, and other sorts.
Ethnicity wise the city is mainly split up between Farwinders, Tsilni, and Sagar. There is also a fair number of foreign immigrants who have assimilated into the city. Farwinders hold majority with 40%, Tsilni 25%, Sagar 25%, and other ethnicities hold the remaining 10%.

Government

The city is run by the Prince. The Prince handles most of the affairs of the city but has a council of other boyars and can delegate responsibilities to them. As of right now the upholding of law within the town is held by Vacik Komnenov, the marshal. Much of the organization, planning, and stewardly duties are held up by the Steward, a Dragonborn named Josu “Carvedeye” Kalkashka.

Defences

A reinforced wooden wall surrounds the city that reaches to 60 feet above the ground. The city is built upon a set of hills and the river allows for a geographic advantage against incoming forces. The ballistae can be placed against the walls to form a defense against siege weaponry and tall watchtowers can warn the city of incoming trouble.

Industry & Trade

With this city sitting in between two of Farwind largest cities, Rekgorod has grown wealthy on trade. Many of their citizens are artisans, craftsmen, and merchants. Caravans often travel from the city or stop through it on their way which allows them to offload some goods or pick up some things for their travel. They also demand a small tax for caravans coming through.   The city is still home to quite a bit of arable land that the populace can farm. They get a fair amount but still require food to be imported from the villages surrounding the city.   The largest industries are produced by the clothiers, smiths, and caravaneers. The main imports include furs, tools, weaponry, clothing, and paper.

Infrastructure

A large riverboat shipyard is located in Rekgorod. A sizeable portion of the navy is built here and shipped out towards the sea northward. Sitting between Asdrasza and Agregrad also gives it access to the long highways of both, allowing caravans to easily travel between each.

Assets

The city of Rekgorod has access to thousands of pounds of gold. The trade city grows rich on tax and investments which allow for its coffers to sit full. It is also home to treasures, gems, and other sorts in the Rekgorod bank that go further beyond the thousands of pounds of gold.   The city has a standing force of roughly 120 guardsmen who are equipped with weaponry and basic armor. While most are not well trained, many of them can still hold their own in a fight against an enemy force. They also have four ballistae that are placed upon the walls.

Guilds and Factions

There are many guilds within the city. The many different artisan guilds such as the Rekgorodi Smith's Combine and the Clothiers of Rekgorod are two of them. The Rekgorodi Smith's Combine is a collection of Rekgorod's prominent smiths and metalworkers. They are fairly powerful when it comes to craftsmen guilds and hold a decent bit of political weight. The Clothiers of Rekgorod is another guild that has fairly close connections to the Rekgorodi Smith's Combine. Nearly as powerful as the Combine, the Clothiers find that they still hold some weight in the city. Sometimes the guild members work together on projects or with trading goods.   Some of the most powerful guilds are the caravan guilds. Large groups of caravanners gathered together into three major factions, each trying to top the other in their market.   The Golden Lasso Caravan is a company of traders, merchants, and craftsman who work for the wealthy Mila Tsoroska, a shrewd Tiefling businesswoman who owns a portion of the docks.   The Artenessians are a group of human caravanners who grouped together and control much of the travel through Rekgorod. The run a system of traders who travel all over Farwind. They are run by Mecek the Wise, a caravanner from Asdrasza who wishes to move his business further south.   The Agre River Trading Co. is another guild made of traders and merchants who are in competition of the other two. They are led by Gatan Mozebov, a Half-Orc with a mind for money, and a band of mercenaries at his every whim.   Rekgorod is also home to the rumor of a thieves guild. They are known as the Vitariani, a band of underground smugglers, black market traders, and thieves who do business in the shadows. Some say they don't exist, and that those who claimed to be members were only looking to improve their reputation. However, rumors find their root somewhere.

History

The city was founded just under 2,000 years ago before Farwind had been unified, and the princedoms were mostly just bands of city-states or confederations of tribes. Along the banks of the Agre River a tribe settled down and built up what would become their home. The Rekadozki, led by their Chieftan Tsor, began building a settlement around the ruins of an abandoned bridge crossing the raging river. Another tribe settled on the other side if the river, the Busznakozi led by Chieftan Markoz in 2577.
Where most would find conflict with their neighbors over land, resources, and ethnicity. The Rekadozki and Busznakozi found that their efforts were better used for trade and friendship. Eventually the bridge was repaired in 2645 as both tribes repaired the colossal structure with the resources and ingenuity of man and elf. When it was repaired, their two communities officially joined together as the young Chieftan Wjoda II married Aysola Tharsaudska the daughter of the Rekadozki Chieftan Thar.

Architecture

Built from wood and the gold of a lucrative trade route, this city is a genius mix of Farwinder and other Czerelan styles. The influx of cultures and placementupon the river in the heart of Farwind show how the styles collide.
Most of the buildings maintain the Farwinder architectural style, sloped rooves and domes top the buildings of the cities. Wooden walls of
