Om

Om is an ancient world infused with powerful magic. Mystic energies affect the terrain, living beings, and the very laws of physics. It is a place of fantastic landscapes and stunning vistas, home to a bizarre panoply of natural and magical flora and fauna. Magic has accelerated and twisted evolution into a violent arms race where vicious monsters and mutant beasts compete for food and territory, and intelligent creatures form walled communities to remain safe from the predations of these creatures.   Humans are the most common of the intelligent species, but there are also the ancient and wise elvari (or elves), the hard-working and tough dworjin (or dwarves), the simple but clever homelings (or halflings), and the super-intelligent gnomes. Each of these species maintain their own communities, but they also come together in larger cities where science and the art of magic are used to further civilisation, and to protect the people from the dangers of the wilderness.   Om is a fantasy world created for use in RPGs and other fictional works.
