- Camp Baldraithe is the living version of Camp Gajah
- Here, the camp sits at the edge of a lake, beyond the edge of the same forest that Camp Gajah exists inside
- Camp Baldraithe is the place where Mulderaan can lure children in their waking form in order to steal their power and ability
- in the living world, Mulderaan takes the form of Tom Orrow, a sweet, seemingly sympathetic man who acts as camp director
- in reality, Mulderaan is a terrifying being that must disguise himself in order to interact with children easily and without suspicion
- Baldraithe is an elegant, opulent sort of camp
- the main camp house is backed upon by the lake, and there are several docks that lead from the back of the building and onto the lake
- by and large, the camp operates as a legitimate camp and is broken into a group of four segments:
- Ergon-the potentials
- cordimus-spiritual enlightenment
- Callidus-high achievers/IQ
- Bellator-the physically adept
- in reality, the camp is split into these four groups so that Mulderaan can appropriately classify their abilities and powers, and watch them and assess who the major players are
- The dreams act like a beacon for children to attend this particular camp- the dreams start first, where night after night they venture into camp Gajah. Then, in the living world, they receive a summons to attend camp Gajah. Those with any kind of magic or ability are inexplicably drawn to the camp, even if they don't remember any of their dreams
- on the whole, the camp operates as a legitimate camp where the kids attending perform usual camp activities
- it is more a way for Mulderaan to get eyes on those with powers, to search for the Endleofan, and to track the children he is most interested in.
