O'Lantern City

"New to the city, sonny? You should know that this place is kinda dangerous, for it is even more messed up than your average mortal city. The only thing you need to know is that you can't trust anybody here, except me of course. This city is full of lost souls, shadows, angels, demons, and maybe worse... But don't worry, Uncle Bonny is here for you, and if you're enough cooperative, I might give you more than a shelter."   Between the bright mounts of Heavens and the fiery dephts of Hell, there is a place. Long ravaged by the conflicts opposing agels to demons, it's a barren wasteland, larger than mortal minds could imagine. Yet, there is a city. Both infinite and limited, material and spiritual, this is a city of all that makes Humanity the greatest and the foulest creation.   Following the Treaty of Armageddon, the sprawling metropolis became a haven for lost souls, mysterious entities and fallen angels. Even the Two Forces have implanted themselves as mere pacific enclaves, despite the increasing rumors of soulnappings.   Officially, the city is lead by the enigmatic Mayor Jack O'Lantern, founder of this unorthodox haven (even if nobody saw him in person), and in theory the head of the Whispering Bureau and its law enforcers, the Undertakers. In fact, the city is in a constant but discrete gang war between countless factions, each with their own shady agendas. Whatever the truth may be, O'Lantern is one hell of a home.
