  The story takes place in a world, created by Gods and Demons. Set in an alternative medieval period, the world is filled with mages who control the six elements of fire, water, ice, lightning, stone and wind.   Arden is a young man, working in the coal factories of his home city Enfer. Determined to one day leave the rough life of Enfer behind, he works day and night to save up money to start a new life elsewhere. He finds himself thrown into a new world of opportunities, when one day a energetic young woman named Kana, of a clan of ice mages, knocks on his door. He learns from her that he is a blessed mage, a mage who possesses the power to wield all six magic arts. Together they embark on a journey through the Lands, to find other mentors to teach him the ways of his magic. But soon they finds themselves part of a war, much bigger than they initially think. It is a war of men, a war of five cities, a war of money and of magic and ultimately, a war of Gods and Demons
