Silverstone City Hall

Exterior

The four stories town hall is the largest building in Silverstone. It is made of dark grey solid brick with nearly a dozen windows on each level. A set of solid oak double doors serve as the entrance. Two large flags extend from the building flapping in the wind. The first is a picture of a gold scale over a split green and brownfield. The second flag is solid black but displays a red claw in the center.

Main Lobby Interior

Design

70ft x 110ft rectangular shape. The outer wall is made of solid brick, where as the interior is all hardwood floors and walls.

Entries

The main entrance with double doors. Multiple windows. Both the door and windows have measures in place to be able to be reinforced.

Sensory & Appearance

See: You step into a large open room that contains two line ups of people that lead to a number of tellers. A sign above the tellers read ‘Dock Offices’. Individual teller stations read ‘Docking Fee’ and ‘Cargo Registry’. The area is fenced off with a rope divider that prevents anyone from exploring any further into the building. Four guards stand on the opposite side of the rope divider to ensure this. It is obvious that anyone who wishes to venture further into the building must pass by the receptionist at the front desk. The multiple windows allow the area to be well lit.

Smell: Air is stuffy and smells of body odor and salt water when busy.

Feel: Crowded and cramped for space.

Hear: The constant murmur of dozens of people chatting amongst themselves drown out most other sounds.
