Sentinel Grove
Sentinel Grove is a dark and forbidding forest full of twisted plants and beasts surrounding the Black Tower (Tralfangar). It is said tht when the victims of Luxaz fled in the Dark Revolt, that Luxaz cursed some of the fleeing people and they instantly became trees, bushes, vines, beasts, and other elements of the forest. They cannot leave the boundary set by Luxaz when he cast the spell. So, they are doomed to live forever in tortured and perpetually dying bodies and to guard his tower. The people who have survived to stumble out of the forest after being so foolish as to venture into it have described twisted trees that resembled skeletons, carnivoorous vines and shrubs, beasts that roam around howling pitteously and searching for their next meal. The general feeling of those who have returned is of oppression, terror, and grief. Some have come back completely insane—raving about things watching them and hunting them.
Geography
A desse, dark forest sloping up to the summit of a hill where The Black Tower sits. One side of the forest is bounded by Anticipation Lake.
Ecosystem
Dead, half-living, perpetually dying plants and animals make up the majority of this forest. The flora and fauna will eat anything they can catch or obsorb.
