Crystal Plinth
Crystal Plinths have been discovered at the top of every pyramid created by the Astroine in the Sacala Desert and in the South Sacala Rainforest. Around the edges of the plinths are carved runes of the Astronish alphabet. Depictions on the surface of the pyramids lead scholars to believe that the crystals were somehow used for communication and / or transportation between the pyramids.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Scholars have postulated that some type of energy, such as light or magical energy would need to be passed through the crystal to perform communication or transportation. They hypothesize that the desired location to which the message, thing, or person was to be sent was chosen by lighting up the correct runes.
