In 1961 AG, Queen Gwenaria gained the throne. In 1966, after much diplomatic and political wrangling and promises for a better future for Octiragrin she united the disparate domains and factions of the kingdom. She created a system of Border Wardenships, Rangers, Guildsmen, Knights, and landed Barons to steward the kingdom and people. All of these appointment types is known as a Baron and each has its own responsibilities.

- Land Barons - Manage natural, human, capital, food and other resources for the barony
- Border Wardens - Fields an army of knights and guardsmen to patrol and defend the bordr
- Knights - Commands men to fight for Octiragrin
- Rangers - Patrols, guards, and husbands the forest
- Guildsmen - Cultivates beneficial and fair trade and commerce, promotes the arts, scholarship, and religion in Octiragrin
Responsibilities
- Land Barons - Stewardship and guardianship of people and resources of a region of the country
- Border Wardens - Defense and stewardship of a region of the border of Octiragrin
- Knights - Defense of Octiragrin
- Rangers - Guardianship and stewardship of forest regions
- Guildsmen - Stewardship and management of trade goods and tradesmen, banking, post, scholarship, arts, etc.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Any Baron's rank and priveleges will be revoked if he is found to be working against the best interests of Octiragrin. This in cludes collusion with a foreighn power, curuption, accepting bribes, trade deals that unfairly benefit oneself to the exclusion of the good of the country, laxity in fulfilling one's duties, bringing direct harm to the crown or other citizen, etc.
