Long Strider

Long stider is a Nagataru ship used for long distance travel, mainly when raiding far away islands. It is a long used standart, that is yet to find a better replacement, thanks to it's speed, manueverability and durability.

Description:

Long Strider is considered a Corvette, 20meters in lenght and 5m in width. Due to it's time, they tend to be 3 sailed wooden ships. These ships tend to be decorated with religious and war imagery. After several uses, carvings of raids, it was used in, are also added.

Crew:

A single Long Strider operates a crew of around 70, mostly consisting of warriors, but also also a few supporting jobs such as coocks, ship maintainers or fishermen.

Long distance preparation:

It might take a week to get to the raiding location and there is a possibility no food or water are obtained. Because of this, each ship is stocked with reinforced barrels of food for 1 week and water and alcohol for 2 weeks.
The ships catch fish to resupply, so they mostly carry fruits and vegetables. Most are have also a water destillery incorporated. This device needs to be watched constantly so the ship doesn't catch on fire, making it very dangerous but also useful
It's a very basic design that evaporates water and condensates it back, removing any bacteria, filth and salt in the process.

Weapons:

The ship itself doesn't have any weapons, as it is used only for transportation, making it vulnerable to enemy attacks. However, the crew tends to bring Blaze cannons on raids, which are a death sentence for any ship they hip with the rain of fire.
