The Rebirth of Magic

Era beginning/end

Magic returned to the world, the Gods' War began in Capetia, and Slumbering beings of magic awoke all across Occidentia.

In the year 0 the Espadas slew an angel of the Choir, Frollo Clown King chosen of Augustine, and solidified one of their own as the next God of Magic all within a single year. Their deeds sparked the rebirth of magic.   Within the region of Capetia rivers ran dry, rain turned to a black sour fluid, great chasms opened in the earth, and the sun froze at a perpetual twilight. The land was plunged into chaos until all princes bar one were dead.   Occidentia was overtaken by hundreds of magical beings who had fallen into stasis through the Age of Slumber. These included ancient wizards who took control of the Daqin noble houses, sorcerer tyrants conquering the city states of what is now the Hundred Tyrants, and monstrous beasts slaughters local wildlife to establish their territory. Most famous of these Sleepers are the Queen and the Magister who rule Dominon and the Witchfire Emperor current ruler of Leng.
