Haurya

The Haurya people are an ethnic group in southern Varshalshka, on the highlands that lead up to the plateau. They speak one of the only 2 Remaric languages in Varshalshka, called Hauryan. The Haurya have long had an antagonistic relationship with the lowland Kartvleti tribes, as the Haurya often steal down from their highland fastnesses to abduct livestock and slaves from the Kartvleti, a pastime they share with their Nartsukhvi neighbors.
