Composition

The Stahladlerkorp, or steel eagles company, is made up of around 8 million soldiers, with the majority being shock infantry, although many are in the armor divisions and a dedicated air force segment is devoted to this company. The men are also supported by a large following fleet and a support corps.

Equipment

The Stahladlerkorp has arguably the most distinctive equipment of any of the Sol republics historical modeled Corps, with the most recognizable being their pickelhaube inspired armor, which is a modified version of the common Titan class heavy infantry armor, with more armor, a larger weapon array, and a distinctive pointed top, styled after the old german pickelhaube. The standard weaponry is a mark II Hawk rifle, with many varying levels of other weaponry for different specializations.  The Verdun Class transport is the main ground vehicle for troops, and the Orion Arms Atlas transport makes for easy air landings.

Structure

At the head of the Stahladlerkorp is the Könige Marschall, who has final operational command over the Corp. Several officer subdivisions exist, and a large part of the command structure goes to the captains who are in charge of groups of 500 soldiers.

Tactics

The Corp uses tactics of overwhelm and outgun. This usually means that the enemy positions are hit by extensive artillery bombardments or bombing before the first wave of heavy troops mops up and weak positions, then the rest of the corp flood in, wiping out all resistance with superior firepower, numbers, and rapid speed.

Training

Most soldiers are recruited from specialized schools that condition troops for the historical corps, then they are given two years training in combat operations, how to use the vehicles the core employs, and general survival training.

The Corps has an extensive mechanized element that employs tanks and heavy armored vehicles for ground support, as well as a large supporting fleet.
