Galdarian

Galdarian was the god of the Moon and is sometimes referred to as the god of Preservation and Balance. He was the eldest god on Obrios and Tamriel's older brother.   Galdarian and Tamriel had the idea to create Beings and living lifeforms on Obrios. He and Tamriel created most beings on Obrios before Kestramore appeared. Galdarian would create and rule during the night, and Tamriel during the day. Galdarian was particularly fond of making creations that contrasted his sisters.   When Kestramore showed up, she and Galdarian got along fine at first. But when Kestramore and Tamriel started to exclude Galdarian, he grew resentful and jealous. He started to believe that Kestramore was throwing off the balance of Obrios. During the time of his exclusion, Galdarian experimented with creating children on his own, taking fragments of his soul and casting them across the night sky to keep him company.  Even though he now created on his own and had a new family, he still missed his sister and the wonderful creations they used to make together.    Galdarian is a very divisive god on Obrios. While most believe that he resented Kestramore and wanted to destroy her and her creations, others believe Galdarian lost his way. Galdarian needed to preserve and by trying to preserve what Obrios was before Kestramore came and changed everything, he turned against her and its people.   Galdarian reached out to his sister. Tamriel, having missed creating with her brother, agreed to work on a new project with him. Together the two decided to create the Council of Origins to help watch over the races of the world so that they could retire and rest. At least that is what Tamriel thought.   Galdarian tried to corrupt the Council of Origins and turned them against Tamriel and Kestramore. However, not all members of the Council chose to side with Galdarian.    Kestramore learned of this and approached Galdarian, who snapped during the confrontation and attacked her.   The two fought an epic battle lasting hundreds of years. The gods were evenly matched, but Tamriel eventually sided against her brother and Galdarian was betrayed and slain.   In his dying moments, Galdarian used all his power to destroy all of his children and creations, denying the world of their beauty.
