Five hundred years ago, a great wall rose up enclosing the majority of Mawhls Hogis, a country of great forests and curious creatures within. Those surrounding had no idea what happened, an uneasy peace had been reached publicly between the local nations, but the mysterious walls left many hesitant to trust and unsure of what was to come. No seams, no gates, and any who tried to go over or under found only more barrier. Nothing could pierce it as it cut across water, land, and village alike. Years went on, the walls only grew moss and the world outside carried on. Nations rose and fell, monarchies were toppled, and the number of elegantly featured beings with pointed ears dwindled to little but halfbreeds and rumors.	On the dawn of the year of the Pheonix, the wall shuddered, sending ripples across the countryside as two massive gates opened out into the world. One was the Ax gate of Renway, the other was the Knightsgate in its home of the same name. The same day, each country surrounding received a letter from a blue raven, inviting them to send an envoy or to allow a representative to be sent out to them.

"Forgiving Neighbors, The leaders of Mawhls Hogis would like to invite you to enter our lands. We welcome any and all to venture forth but to do so in a peaceful manner. We understand that our shared histories might cause some hesitation, and rightfully so. Should you not wish to visit, perhaps allow us to send our own representative to you in order to soothe any concerns. Regardless of your decision, we would like to extend a Writ of Peace. With our doors now open to all, we insist upon creating an opening for peace, prosperity, and perhaps a valuable resource in trade or diplomacy. We await your decisions and your contact with great anticipation." A meeting was called by the Queen Iando of Thundish, requesting the presence of each nation's ambassadors and their entourages. A party needed to be sent to investigate this.
