True Death
"Why do you ignore your fate? Take up the sword!"
"My fate didn't want me, as I recall it."
The weapon is a long, fearsome claymore that glows as though the metal has been forged fresh upon summoning - thirsting to be quenched in blood. The hilt is bound in red leather with twin tokens to Hosun and Xantu tied to it. The crossguard bears the crest of the Dead Kings. Along the blade, burning in celestial script it reads "True death" - and all necromancers fear it. Ancestral Weapon.
True Death one of eight ancestral weapons, wielded for centuries by descendants of eight ancient Dead Kings of the Ghost Lands. True death was most recently Ridley Chance's father's blade, an ancient and wicked thing. The forging of these weapons is a secret that is heavily guarded by the order. Only wielders of the eight weapons know their secrets and true history. When the weapon of a dead king is taken up, an oath is sworn between master and divine warrior.
Slayer of the Undead. True Death and the other weapons of the Dead Kings were forged and sworn to slay all of the undead kind. Hordes of undead and their masters have been felled in glorious battle in the name of the Dead Kings and the living.
Selana's End. Legend tells of a Knight of Undeath that campaigned against the Dead Kings. To this day the campaign is infamous as it is the closest to shattering the defensive line of the Dead Kings. If the campaign had been successful then the undead hordes of the Ghost Lands would have overrun the lands of the living. Legend tells of Selana slaying many of the Dead King forces even Killing two wielders of the eight ancestral weapons. Though when they faced the third Uthoriel Sindore wielder of True Death, Uthoriel brought the furry of the light delivering its namesake to Selana.
