The Gnarled Arch of Rot Mouth Marsh

Writhing and withered vines insidiously choke themselves forming a wicked arch. Its body is cracked, ancient, and stained with blood. Directly to the left of the ancient arch is a large and ancient stump, its surface stained brown with blood from the many sacrifices that have partaken upon its body. An old stone bares the ancient elven words of monarch that reads "Only the Unseen may pass unless the gift of three is cast."
Treant Tragedy. Like the other Gnarled Arch's this site once would have been a Treant. It once had the spark of potential but just before its birth Maera Willow reaped that potential and warping it into what it is today. The Treant now is suspended in turmoil, in a state of birth, life, and death.
Sacrifices. Many who seek the aid of the Crooked Cane sisters bring gifts of three to the Gnarled Arch. People who do hope to have curses removed, diseases cured, or even undoing death. Some however come in search of wealth or power. Regardless of why they come sacrifices must be made to them which are laid upon the stump.
Bogen. The swamp side town of Bogen brings sacrifices to the Gnarled Arch so they may be protected and prosper. Sacrifices are made in relation to what is required. One of the most potent sacrifices is the sacrifice of child, parent, and grandparent, if such a sacrifice is required then a lottery is put in held to decide who this is.
Ratsam. The Rat King has made many sacrifices to the Gnarled Arch in hopes to bolster power and wealth. This has served the Rat King well in maintaining their rule. This has also served the Sisters of the Crooked Cane as they use the Rat King and his subjects as spies and smugglers.
Sisters of the Crooked Cane. This Gnarled Arch is the entrance to the realm of the sisters of the Crooked Cane. These night hag sisters have long resided here corrupting the lands that surround them reveling in other's misery. Ultimately the sisters answer to their mother Maera Willow, doing her bidding.
