Giant Rhinoceros Beetles
The sound of heavy vibrations caused the ground to vibrate as Magorash looked to the skies, descending the mountains was a heard of giant rhinoceros beetles. Held aloft below them were cargo containers, filled to the brim with gifts of the mountains. Atop the beetle's backs were the members of the Sudiek mining company. A coalition of Dwarves and Humans that survived the noble family of Eshidore. As they flew overhead, Magorash couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to ride one of them or even better fight one in glorious battle.
Breeding and hunting. While some breeders exist within the United Kingdoms of Panthea and the Elven Tri-Stars, They are heavily regulated by those seated powers. Wild Rhinoceros Beetles are incredibly rare in the founded realms of Lok'ara N'durien they do still exist. If one is reported they are to be captured and returned to the ruling power or culled.
Black Market. On the black market eggs, Instar Grubs, Pupa, or even Adult Rhinoceros beetles can be acquired. For the right price even required documentation can be supplied. Being caught in the possession of an illegal Rhinoceros Beetle can lead to fines, imprisonment, or in some states death.
Utility. While they aren't as fast as other giant insects, the rhinoceros beetle is highly revered by its sheer power. The rhinoceros beetle is usually sought after as a beast of burden as it is able to lift, push or carry a large amount, and it's inherent combat prowess which comes in handy to protect its cargo. Military applications are not unheard of and if trained and outfitted the giant rhinoceros beetle could be a force to be reckoned.
