Ghilla Macrae
(a.k.a. Ghilla Macrae)
Ghilla Macrae is a skilled half-Elven ranger who is wanted for the crimes of sedition and the practice of magics without permission of the Crown. He is a Robin Hood-esque folk hero among the peasantry of Palawyr, and is believed to reside somewhere within the region of Torchstone. Children and bards have made up fantastical stories of his mystical antics, none of which has done his reputation any good with Her Serene Majesty, nor the Emerald Watch.
In truth, Ghilla is an affable man, humble, kind, and warm. His presence has been called noble by some of his followers, though he would scowl if he heard such accusations. It is his intent to see magic used to good ends, and to see the people of Palawyr free of magical persecution.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
A hearty man, lean of limb and stalwart of constitution, he suffers a small malformation of his right ear, and right hand, but these disfigurements are strictly cosmetic, and do not hinder him in any notable fashion.
Body Features
Ghilla's pallour suffers as one who rarely has an opportunity to enjoy the sunlight, although there lingers still a bit of tan to his cheek and chin.

Intellectual Characteristics
Ghilla seems a man of high education, despite his earthy countenance, able to speak several languages with fluency including Elven, Palawryi, Orcish, and Mynuek. He is versed in alchemy and herbalism as well as history and philosphy, and, one presumes, he is a pratictioner of the magical arts- though few have ever actually seen him do so.
Morality & Philosophy
A man of strong convictions, he lives up to his reputation, holding fast to a personal code of ethics. He believes in equality of the classes- that peasants are no less worthy of respect and kindness than nobles, and frequently risks his own safety and liberty to assure that the downtrodden and common folk are looked after.
