Nyctophobia

The world has long since flooded, and humanity no longer able to survive on its surface retreated beneath the earth. Surviving in a self sustaining environment known as the Metro created by BioTech one of the old super corporations of the old world. And it was within such environments and under the law of the Corporation a population of man recovered, its outposts growing in population and sustained by the Railroads that connected them.

However such an age is long since past since its seems even at the depths of our world man still falls to the same hubris and failures. As The corporation of BioTech was torn down and destroyed 200 year ago in the Great Split Torn up from the roots by the liberating masses who had no want to be the pawns of some old world corporation. Yet such violence spread across the metro like a plague as its passages were consumed in chaos and violence that threatened its end turning the upper metro into broken rubble and the Lower into a barely habitable war-zone.

yet in the past years a semblance of order has been brought to the tunnels (or so they would like to advertise) with the forming of the UMS (United Metro Stations), an organization looking to reunited the stations of the metro and return order their will enforced by the Age old Steel Guard organization. Yet such hopeful of unity have not been entirely peaceful as the tunnels of the Metro are still consumed by disorder and repugnance to a new self proclaimed government.

One can only watch as to see what fate lies in wait for the people of the Metro, Will humanity once again fall to darkness to hold on to the light they have in the choking dark. . .
