Nuuk

After a nuclear power plant leaks radiation onto surrounding farmland, a deadly parasite mutates and latches onto crops nearby. Unsuspecting locals ate these infested crops and started to get severely ill. The parasite spread like wildfire, killing hundreds, thousands, millions. But as it evolved, it became so deadly that it killed hosts faster than it could jump to a new host. Ninety percent of humanity was wiped out before the parasite began to hinder itself. Humans discovered that the parasite cannot survive in extremely cold or extremely hot temperatures, so many people flocked to Nuuk, Greenland, where the locals start to sweat if the temperature rises above freezing. These humans in Nuuk have agreed that their last hope is to build a rocket to leave the infected planet forever, and so we follow them as they pool their resources to build Noah's Rocket.
