The Southern Tribe
Every race in Nurna knows about the No-Sea: an enormous, flat expanse devoid of life, a huge dead pan of compact rock and sand, dotted with strange ruins which might have been under the sea during lost times. Despite the unhospitable environment, one tribe of the nunnehi considers it their home: it is the Southern Tribe.
The Southern Tribe inhabits silent villages in the top of the desert mesas and inside cracks in the rocky slopes of the mountains that circle the desert. Some of those villages look abandoned and ruinous to the eye, but the pure of will might see hidden shadows walking in the empty streets. The Southern nunnehi protect themselves this way: by encircling their homes with illusions that only the hearts who bear the truth within can pierce.

THERE SHALT ALWAYS BE A MASK OVER YOUR FACE
The Southern Tribe is shy, silent and mysterious. They always cover their faces under masks, because (for them) their real face is the face of their souls. Thus, the soul might be covered or it will remain unprotected to the corruptive force of the world.
Tribal tradition rules: a Southern Tribe character will always have his face covered with a mask, and won't take it off by any circumstance. This mask will be part of their equipment, but it could be changed by a helmet if this covers the entire face of the character. If the character loses it, or it becomes broken, he must try to create another using tools, materials like stone, leather and/or rock. Losing the mask won't be considered a violation of this tradition, but taking it off voluntarily or not trying to make the substitute to a lost mask will be. Thus, the character will risk to become tainted.
