The Northern Tribe

The northern tribe of the nunnehi live between the firs of the taiga and the cold icebergs of the tundra. They wander endlessly, always concealed by mist and snow, following the herds of the animals they protect and hunt. During summer they move to the icy wastelands of the Cruel Desert and the Granite Land, where they hunt the caribou and the walrus, while in winter they fled to secret caves under the snowy hills of the Great Cold Forest.   They are reserved people, and little talkative. They mistrust every stranger, even more than any other nunnehi. Nobody knows why are they so isolated: some legends say that is because they are extremely ugly, and they try to keep their faces unknown. Other people say that maybe they're trying to avoid what happened to the other nunnehi, who saw their homelands invaded by the other races.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

THOU SHALT REMAIN INVISIBLE   The Northern Nunnehi are the most isolated of their race. They're rarely seen in the south, and it's even rare to find one in the north.   Tribal tradition rules: Northern Tribe characters will always try to go unnoticed to anyone who is not part of the party. They will also try to avoid entering cities. If the character is caught entering a city or by an stranger he won't break this Tradition, but it will break it if he or she voluntarily decides to enter a city or to be seen by an stranger. Then, it will risk to become tainted.
