Condor Elves
Elves appreciate forests because they need trees: they serve as refuge and home every night. However, Condor elves learned long ago that an inaccessible cliff works just as well. They are excellent climbers and they have made the mesas in the desert and the mountain peaks their undisputed home.
Even though there are some Condor elves who live in the Tableland or in the No-Sea Desert, most of them live in Lanurna, where they cause trouble to dwarves. Rivalry between dwarves and Condor elves has a long and rich history of dishonor, treachery and treasures lost, and they still are declared enemies.

THOU SHALT CARRY THE MOHAWK OF THE WARRIOR AND THE MARK OF THE BATTLE
Condor elves are distrustful by nature: living in the desert keeps them safe against their enemies, but it's a demanding task. After they reach maturity, and in order to show that they are worthy, Condor elves wear their hair collected in a mohawk (women do this too) and they adorn their faces with hideous scarifications that indicate their status, and tell how many dangers they had survived. All of this makes them quite intimidating and easily recognizable between the rest of the elven tribes.
Tribal Tradition rules: a Condor elf character should wear a mohawk and have, at least, one war scar, which would give Disadvantage in Charisma-related rolls with non-elf characters. Removing the mohawk for, say, a party or ceremony of another race, would be considered a violation of the tradition and the character can become Tainted.
