Clothing of the Nambir desert people, the Bicara.

The Bicara have built a great civilization based on their irrigated farms along the Ilne river and trading their fine cloths all along the east coast. The cotton that grows along the Ilne is fine and strong. The breeds of sheep and goats from the northern mountains provide soft, warm cloaks. The Bicara keep large finely netted fields where exquisite silks are produced. Among the Bicara are the Boxers, people who plan the forays into the southern wasteland to collect orbox. Great caravans with wagons full of barrels of water go to the orbox depressions and the Boxers fill the empty barrels with orbox and hope to have enough water to return. Orbox is a substance which creates the whitest of clothing, protecting the cloth from stains and tears. Trade with the Jovana of the outer reaches of the Nambir desert brings pigments of carnelian, azure, saffron, emerald, jade, and violet. The small mining operations in the northern mountains provide gold and silver thread to weave into the fine cloth they make. All of these components are brought to Weaver's Row in the great city of Adrexanil. There the cloth is woven and then taken to Dyer's Circle for coloring. The dyers create sheets of white, red, and other colors. There is one family that has invented a way to produce multicolored cloth they call Tyed and Dyed. This cloth has become very popular in certain social circles. Some cloth is diverted to Tailor's Lane where the latest fashions are produced. Each year, traders from far and near come to Adrexanil for the annual fashion show. At the pageant, models show off the creations of the Adrexanil designers, and exclusive contracts are given to the highest bidder. Bicara clothing is always the style setter, others are mere imitations!
