After Emrys and Nix Telnarthor arrive back in Taldirin they agree to help Toblen Stonehill, the local innkeeper, in replacing the lost personal and repair the damage.
They start off looking for a trader among the Rock Gnomes, of Gnomengarde and manage to find and secure a Gnome named Fibblestib as a trader. The gnomish settlement was left under the rule of the new Queen, Dabbledob, after its former king went mad and managed to escape.
