Regent of the Empire

The Regent of the Empire was a temporary title granted by the High Council to a person who was in the line of heritage in cases where the intended ruler was too young or otherwise incapable of performing their duties as a ruler. It became obsolete with the dissolution of the second empire during The Great Kadian Split.

Duties

A Regent holds a vow to guard the ruler with his life and protect them from any harm. They shall also do their best efforts to educate their tyke if the need arise or arrange for education if their are incapable of doing so.
A regent may not engage in warfare, save for defensive wars. They are also not allowed to change any rules save for taxation during their reign.
