Álf

Álf are a race of tall humanoids from the world of Álfheim. Álf have watched over humanity since the dawn of time and have returned to Midgard to save the Lord's people.


Álf

Ability Score Increase +2 Dex
Size Medium
Speed 30 ft.

Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Keen Senses: You have proficiency in Perception.

Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saves against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Soul Twin: You have a deep bond with a creature whom you share a soul. Choose a beast whose CR is less than 1. Your Soul Partner's stats are the same as that creature except that it is a fey, instead of beast, and it's Intelligence score is increased to 10. While within 10 ft. of your soul partner you can communicate telepathically with it and have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks. You can also make this creature into your Animal Companion, Paladin Steed or Familiar gaining the benefits of both features. Your DM may choose another creature like a Drake or even another humanoid as your Twin Soul.

High Álf

Ability Score Increase +1 Int

Álf Weapon Training: You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

Cantrip: You know one Cantrip of your choice from the wizard spell list. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Extra Language: You can speak, read, and write one extra language of your choice.


Wood Álf

Ability Score Increase +1 Wis
Size Medium
Speed 35 ft.

Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saves against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Álf Weapon Training: You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

Fleet of Foot: Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet.

Mask of the Wild: You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.


Dark Álf

Ability Score Increase +1 Cha
Size Medium
Speed 30 ft.

Superior Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Sunlight Sensitivity: You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Perception checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Night Magic: You know the Minor Illusion cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Silent Image spell once per long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Blur spell once per long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

River Álf

Speed 30 ft. Swim 30 ft.

River Álf Weapon Training: You have proficiency with the spear, trident, light crossbow, and net.

Child of the Stream: You have a swimming speed of 30 feet, and you can hold your breath for up to 15 minutes at a time.

Friend of the River: Using gestures and sounds, you can communicate simple ideas with Small or smaller beasts that have an inborn swimming speed.
