The Dead Cemetery

The Dead Cemetery, the House of the Dying

In here the dead people who die in Nowhere Land buried stay here as ghosts, some are the in-between of life and death, vampires pale as mist in the moonlight, people of different time periods stay, a gravestone guise as gates to hell, a chapel topped with spires, rotting with age and cobwebs. Werewolves that roam and devour. The ghosts of the Dead Cemetery are only permitted to stay in the graveyard, but cannot go outside. In this area, morning never occurs, it is always twilight, with seven moons hanging above them, each having different characteristics. The place is a small island surrounded by the lake of oblivion. All the people who swim in the lake are erased and forgotten entirely. A ferry is needed to cross it and arrive at the Dead Cemetery. It is a graveyard, with an infinite amount of gravestones, one being the gates of hell. There is a chapel one can go to at the path, often empty, but sometimes vampires take refuge here.

Residents:

Ghosts   People who are killed in The Nowhere Land and buried here by day stay here as ghosts, pale mists in the twining moonlight. They are of different time periods and races, different languages and cultures, all stuffed up in one graveyard.   Revenants   These are vengeful spirits who often wish to escape the Dead Cemetery. They more often than not are caught by the Shepherds and erased from memory.   Ghouls   People who stay below the Ghoul Gate and feast upon human flesh. They stay down in the pits of hell with Lucifer and his demons, and other monstrosities. They are inhumanly quick and strong, able to tear flesh with the lick of a tongue.   Vampires   People who need blood to survive. They are the only residents of the Dead Cemetery to go in and out consistently, and they do not sleep at all. There are very few vampires, and they are extremely rare. But they are also extremely powerful and quick, even faster than air and the likes of ghouls, but they are solitary types and often hide.   Werewolves   They are also people who are allowed to go in and out of the Dead Cemetery, gigantic and powerful beasts, some can control their transformations and some cannot. They have yellow eyes that see through walls, huge claws that tear through steel like butter, and strength even rivaling the likes of vampires.   The Shepherds   They are mysterious and enigmatic figures. All that is known of them is that they regulate who goes in and out of the Dead Cemetery, they are its guardians and are dead themselves, but they are extremely powerful themselves being able to erase people at will on the touch. They drive the 'flock' of the dead. They wear grey robes, almost colorless, with a hood veiling their face. Their eyes are white and their skin is also grey.

Notable locations/landmarks:

The Chapel   This place is rotting, cobwebs grow all over the walls, the spire crumbles and the surrounding obelisks fall. Some people stay here, but almost all the time are they alone. They sometimes pray, ponder, and reflect, maybe meet up or make friends. It is a notable landmark among the people of the dead cemetery.   The Gates of Hell   This is the only known way to gain access to hell in The Nowhere Land, and even then it is difficult to get to. It is an arbitrary gravestone in the cemetery, and there aren't any distinctive features, the only way you can tell that the gravestone next to you is the Gates of Hell is the distinct disturbing eerie feeling of horror you will feel when next to it.
