Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Gaeth appears as a slightly less than middle aged man. He is slightly overweight and no defining physical characteristics. He wears simple, rough spun clothing of no discernible style or culture.
He speaks in an odd accent.
Gaeth’s true form is still humanoid, though far more demonic in appearance. When sufficiently ‘injured’ or angry, his form shifts into a haunting, pale figure. His eyes turn solid black and catlike, the veins on his skin bulge a baleful orange-red.

Special abilities

Gaeth is a powerful being, even when compared to other Entities. For the casual observer, he is omnipotent and is capable of flaunting the laws of time and space. He is unhindered by all but the most powerful magic.
In addition to his general power, Gaeth is capable of granting almost any wish, though he does have limits. He is unable to interact with another Entity and is bound by whatever pact he agrees to (though he has no compulsion to agree to anything).
As with all Entities, Gaeth is capable of traversing the Pearl Road on a whim and is easily capable of walking between planes. In addition, he is immortal and only capable of being killed on his home plane.

Personal history

Gaeth of Drear poses as a simple man with deceptively simple motivations. If asked, he claims he was/is a wind chime salesman but that business has "seemed to have gone downhill lately".
Other than this, not much is know about Gaeth. Experts in cartography are unable to identify the town or country of Drear, and even magic is unable to discern its location. Those that meet and ask him are only given that its a "far off place".
Gaeth is a powerful entity capable of amazing feats of power. He is seemingly omnipotent, able to stop time on a whim. He explicitly says his abilities are spells or magic, and has a particular disdain for mages and sorcerers.
He is capable of granting almost any wish asked by him and is capable of refusing to grant one. Whether or not he is capable of altering the motive of a wish is unclear, but wishes are always granted in a twisted nature. He claims he grants people "exactly what they wish for".
Gaeth is unnervingly knowledgeable and knows far more information than he has any right too. He is unfazed by illusions or trickery, able to see through the most deceptive of abilities.
As with all Entities, Gaeth awoke near the dawn of time though he is one of the younger ones. His domain is a featureless plane of still water and fog. Across the infinite expanse, a number of bodies hang in the air. A soft ringing can be heard across the plane, though there is no breeze.
