Sowe Gemo

A proud country.

Richard Bradley
Protected on two sides by two great forests -- the Elizil Forest to the West and the Naessli Forest to the East -- Sowe Gemo is a relatively small but strong country. It is home to one of the oldest animal settlements known to Novanatians, and is chock full with religion, pride, and culture.

Structure

Sowe Gemo runs on a democratic system. The President holds the highest title and overlooks all of the rest of the country's proceedings. Then there is a Head of Government, and they essentially run the government and Governors. Governors are elected from their individual countries and represent their countries in government.

History

Founded in 1458 AS, the country began as a small scattered group of settlements. By 1462 AS, they had come together to unite under the flag of Sowe Gimo.

Territories

Sowe Gimo does not currently occupy any territories outside of its own country.

Military

Sowe Gimo has its own military, as many of the countries located on Molter do. It does not have a very large military, as there are few threats to the country.

Religion

While freedom of religion is present, Morterran Polytheism is the most common and the official state religion. At least 60% of the total population of Sowe Gimo worships according to this religion.

Our Pride is the happiness of the heart.
