The Scroll of Diversity.

A few hundred years ago, an Vel'Toran Archeologist uncovered a temple in the vast deserts of Perdere's. Within the temple the archeologist discovered a scroll, preserved in almost pristine condition. The scroll discovered told a previously unsaid story of the divine entity known only as Oneiros. A god dreamwalker who by all means is the being of which the followers of the religion Hulmeism      Diversity. Once walked upon this earth none other than Oneiros. Great dreamer, untold hope and creator of motivation. For his is our intent and wealth. He who caries the burden of creativity. One night, ten thousand years ago, Oneiros walked a road through the bush of the lands. Come did a beast with malicious vice and mockery as intent. The beast said unto Oneiros which was true that they needed strength to battle its brothers in the planes of Nova. A strength to subdue those whom stand against the beast and its kin. Oneiros ever loyal to dreams and hope saw the beasts burdens and said unto which that it surely should have the strength it seeks. But to acquire it a task it must first finish. To find the power it was deemanded of the beast to first seek the well known only as the well of giants. For in it an immortal giant lived. A giant which could grant power and wisdom to those who sacrificed to it. And so the beast did, it traveled to the well of wisdom and strength and as Oneiros has told it surely held within it a giant which offered the strength the Beast so surely searched for. As payment for the strength the giant only asked one thing of the Beast. It asked for his eye, his eye of true-sight. The eye which the Beast used to recognize the matrices of the world and the flow of nature. But if the Beast payed the price he would be bestowed with greater power than those of any of its kin, therefor he would be unstoppable in the scrimmages to come. For a fortnight the Beast pondered the sacrifice. Attempting to bargain with the Giant without any prevail. But on the fourteenth night the beast went to the Giant. He stood there in front of it, put a hand to his forehead and ripped from his skull the Eye with which he could watch the flow of nature and matrices of the world. The giant transformed before the Beasts eyes and so Oneiros said unto the Beast, that his sacrifice shall be answered and power shall be upon him granted. And power the Beast received, known throughout time as the strongest of all races. Never disregarded in battle, a foe among foes.
