Catians van een familie komen samen in het huis van de oudere, de oudste lid van de familie. Bij de nobele families dat is in het huis van de
Prins. Elk nieuwgeboren kitten wordt dan bij een muurgat gelegd zodat het licht van de maan op ze kan schijnen. Naast de nieuw geboren kittens licht een blauwe
Elpeanyx edelsteen dat is niet opgeladen door de witte zon zodat de stenen niet oplichten in het donker. De blauwe edelstenen staan voor de blauwe maan. De ouders en oudere moeten de gehele nacht wakker blijven om over de kittens te waken.

Catians of one family comes together in the house of the elder, the oldest member of the family. For the nobles, that is the house of the
Prince. Every newborn kitten is laid down in front of a window so that the light of the full moon can touch them. Next to every newborn kitten is a blue
Elpeanyx gemstone, that is not charged by the white sun, thus it would not light up in the dark. The blue gemstone stands for the blue moon. The parents and elders stay awake all night, to guard the kitten.

Het is geloofd in de Catian cultuur dat het licht van de blauwe maan de kittens gezegend op een gezond en lang leven.

It is believed in Catian culture that the light of the full blue moon blesses the kitten for a long and healthy life.

Ceremonie kleding/Ceremonial outfit

De kleding is voor alle Catians hetzelfde, ze dragen witte kleding met een blauwe Elpeanyx hanger om hun nek. Aan de ketting hangt een mantel. Voor de vrouwen is het verboden om een sluier te dragen tijdens het ritueel. Ook is het verboden om een wapen te dragen.

The clothing for all the Catians is the same: they wear white clothing with a blue Elpeanyx pendant. A cape hangs from the same chain as the pendant. It is forbidden for the woman to wear a veil. It is also forbidden to wear a weapon during the ritual.
Uitzondering/Exception

Als een kitten is geboren buiten huwelijksverband dan wordt de kitten naar de ouder van de moeders familie gebracht. De vader mag aanwezig zijn, maar het is dan niet vereist.

If a kitten is born out of wedlock, then the kitten is brought to the house of the elder of the mothers side of the family. The father may be present during the ritual, but is then not obligated to do so.
Comments
