Udalla Yidors (juːdalæ jaIdorz)

Captain Udalla Yidors is the captain of the Kyra Nor. They are a reknowned pirate in the waters of the Salnoque Ocean and beyond, centering much of their practice around the island of Uk'lavros.

Description

Appearance

Captain Yidors is described as an amethyst skin tiefling with a slender feminine figure with medium length, thick, coarse white hair, often tucked back behind their ears and elongated purple horns. Unlike many of their bretheren, Captain Yidors has a twinned tail similar to that of some infernal creatures.
The Captain is often described as wearing a long evergreen jacket with an elegantly designed teal trim. The jacket is flanked on either shoulder by two bronze shoulderguards that seem to resemble ocean waves parting. Under their coat, Captain Yidors is also wearing a set of well designed golden studded leather armor with a pair of brown and green knee-high boots. Adorning their missing eye, Captain Yidors has a verdant green eyepatch, a unique design created for them by a craftsman in Uk'lavros.

Personality

Captain Yidors is fiesty, confident, and intense. As many members of The Corsairs would attest to, Captain Yidors is known for their commanding presence among even the finest of pirate crews. There are tales of their stare boring into the souls of crewmates to see the truth behind the thousands of lies they are told every day. Captain Yidors is willing to remove, often by murder, anyone who gets in the way of them achieving their goals, with many people considering them to be empassioned and rash.
Despite the evidence of rash behaviour, Captain Yidors is not a fool, able to see the deceptions and half-truths told to them. They intentionally formed a reputation with the ideation that they are somewhat crazy, this was an intentional decision on their part, to make people less likely to interfer in their plans.
They have an intense love of discovering and plundering the depths of knowledge about the creature created during The Shatter known as Urx'hai, a sea faring creature created by Azrovil.

History

Udalla Yidors was born in Port Zan during 648 AR in to the noble elven Yidors family, to their mother Yulassa Yidors, a dark elf, and their father, Olvan Uvran, a human. Unlike many of their siblings, who were half-elven, Udalla was born as a tiefling. It still remains shrouded in mystery as to why Udalla was born as a tiefling, it did however make the the target of a significant amount of negative feelings directed from their siblings.
After putting up with the abuse of their family for several years, Udalla recieved a boon from an unknown patron who had taken a direct interest in Udalla. This boon came in the form of Serpent's Tounge, a shortsword that seemed to be designed particularly for Udalla. In 661 AR, its believed that Udalla slaughtered their whole family, resolving in the downfall of house Yidors. Udalla stowed away on a ship that eventually ended up in Uk'lavros, where Udalla worked her way up the food chain until eventually in 714 AR, they became respected enough to captain their own ship. Since 714 AR, Captain Udalla Yidors has become the most feared pirate on the Salnoque Ocean, and has sunk many vessels.
Their greatest victory came in 740 AR when the Kyra Nor, captained by Udalla, became the first pirate vessel to sink an Aernavis. The Aernavis known as The Tempest's Fury was successfully sunken and its cargo and passengers lost or taken by Captain Udalla.

Character Information

Captain Udalla Yidors does not follow typical class levels, they however do possess the skills of several classes combined together. They function largely as a multiclass between a warlock and a rogue.

Notable Items

• Nine Lives Stealer – A jet black rapier with a hilt decorated like skulls melting together. The pommel of the blade resembles a black skull with glowing red eyes.
• Serpent's Tounge – A silver shortsword that has been forged to look like the scale of a sea serpent. The pommel of the blade is a rough cut amber and has a dual teal ribbon attached to it.
• Black Days – A triple barrel revolver created by Captain Yidors under the guidance of her patron's dreams.
