No Exit
Thirteen years ago The New Colonists started their insurrection against the US Government. Their goal was to take the eastern seaboard and the capital cities of commerce and culture that sat on the said seaboard. Most of the fighting to start with was dirty and scrappy as The New Colonists didn't get their hands on a Chasseur for months. They relied on hit and run tactics as the established government out-manned and out-gunned them. With their equipment and numbers advantage the established government was totally fine with these small-scale battles as a war of attrition heavily favored them.
Fighting started to slow down and the revolutionaries were starting to lose steam on their cause. They knew they had to strike a fatal blow soon or everything their brothers died for will be for naught. In the later months of winter the President and a special medical committee we're heading up through Virginia through the Appalachian trail when they were ambushed by a team of Chasseur's that The New Colonists mysteriously got. They struck fast and brutally killing everyone but The President and one member of the medical committee. The only Chasseur within striking distance was a level two Leviathan unit piloted by, a then lowly sergeant, Stephen Gerheart. This fight would cement Gerheart as a legend among fighting forces by dispatching the five enemy Chasseurs and saving the President and surviving member of the committee.
After the ambush, the government focused forces and in a few months mostly eradicated The New Colonists. The surviving members of the revolution group fled north to Canada as the government, still to this day, try to finish off the group and the splinter cells that still exist.
