Sizes matter in stories, books, and RPGs. It is hard to keep track of how large something is compared to other things. This is a list of things where size matters in the world of Niya-Yur.

City Blocks

City blocks range in size based on many factors. When a city is platted out the size of the blocks is generally up to the opinion of the engineer drawing the plats. Generally speaking, city blocks range in size from 250 by 500 feet up to 400 by 900 feet. All of the oldest cities on Niya-Yur are laid out with blocks 330 by 660 feet in size. Over the thousands of years of building and habitation, it can be hard to see the original layout but records prove this size was an imperial standard.

• Llino - old city, wharves, and inner-city the blocks are laid out very uniformly at 330 feet by 660 feet. In the inner-city the blocks arc around concentric circles slowly decreasing in size up to the central palace.
