Calbria

The Empire of Calbria steches over the continents of Eastern Calbria and Western Calbria. The two continents are separated from each other by the Middalan Sea. On the outside Calbria is surrounded by The Black Ocean.

Founding

The Emire of Calbria was founded by Zagos Terralt the I st. as a result of his attempted travel through the continents of Eastern and Western Calbria. The goal of the journey being the establishment of the largest trading route the tribal continent has seen. In the process of establishing the starting base of this project in Western Calbria, multiple warring tribes united and set on the path of peace, under the careful guidance of Zagos. Eventually, this led to the self-proclamation of King. However, his ambitions spread beyond the western continent. The journey continued to the eastern continent, although this time with more violent measures. Ultimately the Empire of Calbria was founded, as well as The royal house of Terralt. .

History

The Empire of Calbria brought stability to the continents and its people. Under the rule of Zagos Terralt the I st. a long period of growth was experienced. Many historians refer to it as The First Golden Age.. The newfound resources, fruitful lands, knowledge and manpower created for a very rich target. However, due to the centrality of Calbria the new empire posed a very large danger, as it had direct control over the majority of sea routes connecting the rest of Nivamor.
Seeing the dangers the rest of Nivamor posed to Calbria, Zagos and his son and heir Kalavan Terralt the I st. set in motion a series of measures which aimed towards ensuring the empire's endurance as well as laying the foundations of its large naval power. These foundational stones because the turning point for the Empire of Calbria, ensuring its claim and eventual rule on the title of the oldest empire.

The Royal Calbrian Institute

Seeing the importance of maintaining naval power, upon the unification of Calbria, Zagos brought together every Calbrian general, shipbuilder, scholar, architect, stonemason, blacksmith, healer, and so forth, into what he declared the capital of Calbria - Evastor. Located on the south border of Western Calbria, the capital's convenient location provided access to every resource they could ever need. The emperor issued them with the task and power necessary in order for the empire to achieve the required knowledge and skill which would ensure and maintain the Calbrian's power, stability and superiority. This system was later picked up by Kalavan and during his rule, he established it as what is known to today as The Royal Calbrian Institute . Kalavan further gave them an area within the Northeastern part of Evastor where they were funded to build the institute and everything required to further enable them to teach and educate new talent whose purpose would be to be spread across the empire in order to continue acting towards the betterment of the empire.
